Sod's Law

Its Sods law говорят англичане про закон подлости.

Вот, что говорит Википедия по этому поводу:
The phrase is seemingly derived, at least in part, from the colloquialism an "unlucky sod"; a term used to describe someone who has had some bad unlucky experience, and is usually used as a sympathetic reference to the person.

  1. And in the US "Murphy's law" is a more popular term with a close meaning. And here is another law: our native "закон телемастера". Have just learned the term though encountered with it numerous times:)
